In the warmth of this clear, blue sky, two trees stand as silent companions. Look at the one on the left, reaching up with a certain grace, its branches heavy with blossoms and new leaves. It seems to be in a season of flowering, a time of blooming and potential. It’s a bit messy, isn't it? Not a perfect, symmetrical shape, but rather a tangle of new life, each blossom a tiny hope for the fruit to come.

Then there's the other tree, the one on the right. Its leaves are deeper, more established, a rich green that speaks of maturity and a well-lived life. It’s not adorned with blossoms right now, but it carries a different kind of beauty—one of strength and resilience. It's a protector, its full canopy providing shade and shelter.

Sometimes, we feel like one of these trees, and sometimes, we feel like the other. We have moments of feeling like the blossoming tree—full of new ideas, new connections, and a lot of beautiful, chaotic potential. We're in a phase of growth, and it can feel a little overwhelming, a little uncertain. And that's okay. It’s a process.

Then there are other times when we feel like the mature tree. We're in a season of stewardship and stability. We've learned from our experiences, and now we're strong enough to offer support to ourselves and others. We might not have all the new "blooms" of our past, but we've built a solid foundation.

This image reminds me that both seasons are necessary and beautiful. There is no right or wrong way to be. We are all just doing our best to stand tall under the same sky, reaching for the light in our own way, in our own season.

What season do you feel you're in right now?
